WHEN PHYSICAL REALITY BECOMES VIRTUAL REALITY

How can the physical world adapt and evolve with the same fluidity that the Internet enjoys? Can signage and walls become virtual and mutable? We are approaching an era where the Internet is becoming a living part of the real physical world. Our phones camera captures an image and links us to information. Open Table tells us where the best restaurant is based on our location, and the information an be updated by the second because the Internet allows us to do so. How can physical things morph and mimic these properties? Could a sign in the real world be replaced by a sign that only appears in virtual reality on a device that people wear over their eyes or see through their phones?

The potential to change our environment with VR has magnificent potential in the ability to update and share information based on location, the item you are seeing, and who the information is delivered to.
